Husband and I recently used the services of Lockings Solicitors to perform the conveyancing for the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new home. Our conveyancer was Lori, and she was wonderful from start to finish. She was incredibly pro-active and super responsive to any requests made and really helped us get the sale and purchase over the line. She is a credit to both her company and her profession. Lockings have acted on our behalf for the sale of several properties over the years, most recently three at more or less the same time. Having used many solicitors in previous times on many properties I can sincerely state that Lockings are without doubt the best I’ve ever encountered. They act as a team, meaning you get responses and action immediately and kept up-to-date at all times. Their Charges are very reasonable in most cases the best. I required a solicitor to guide me through filling my ID1 form out and to read the legal parts to me. I made a call at 9:30am and spoke to Lisa who managed to get me in the same day at 14:00pm! I had a meeting with Richard who talked me through everything and was very thorough in doing so. The two girls on reception Lisa and Beth were lovely and very welcoming towards me. Excellent experience with Lockings Solicitors in the Beverley Office.  Very professional and highly recommended. Great communication from start to finish.  The 'Portal' was a great way of completing the forms and we always received plenty of updates and important information via email.  Also, Nicky and the CS team  were always available to speak to us if we needed further clarity or just needed to hear a voice at the end of a telephone. Thank you Nicky for your calm and reassuring manor which was greatly appreciated during the stressful weeks leading up to completion. Reception staff on the front desk and on the telephone were always polite and friendly.   Thank you.
